SILCHAR, Jan 1: In continuation of its Civic Action Programme, the
Haflong based Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarters 22 Sector
Assam Rifles distributed computers with accessories and furniture to
Grace Standard English School, Doiheng, in the Dima Hasao district.
The principal, students and staff members of the School along with head man and villagers were present on the occasion. The principal expressed his gratitude towards Assam Rifles for providing assistance to the school. During the distribution ceremony, a small cultural programme was organized.
The event witnessed unprecedented synergy between the civil population and the security forces which will definitely help to foster good relations between them.
